I have been working on a SAPUI5 ‘proof of concept’ application which will display dashboards for the messaging statistics of SAP PI messages. The message statistics are grouped into ‘cockpit sets’ — ‘General’ ones are available for all users and ‘Personal’ ones can be maintained by the users themselves.

SAP HANA XS provides a complete development environment for building so-called ’native’ applications. The term ’native’ is chosen as these kind of applications will run directly on top of the SAP HANA XS engine as opposed to applications running on eg. an ABAP stack that would interact with SAP HANA.
