After a long period of hard work, we went ’live’ with SAP Retail at one of my regular customers.

Challenges were many as the SAP system needed to be ’tweaked’ to fit in an overall new ‘omnichannel’ strategy involving a complete revamp of the web site and a brand-new ‘Product Information Management’ system …

I was mainly involved for doing new custom ABAP developments, converting existing custom functionality and interfacing based upon SAP PO.

The go live is only the first step in many more to come …
