I am ready for those cold, long winter nights :-)

I recently got myself a ‘Raspberry PI’ mini-computer and installed it to play around with some ‘Internet Of Things’ concepts and to get to know this wonderful little device a bit better to understand its capabilities & potential use cases.

This summer I am celebrating 20 years of technical SAP consultancy … time surely flies when one is having fun :-) The SAP adventure started way back for me in 1995 when I graduated from school and got a chance to start working as a consultant at Anderson Consulting (currently known as ‘Accenture’). I was introduced into the SAP R/3 3.0 eco system and its programming language ABAP/4. The start of an interesting technical journey which led through many changes and iterations of different technologies.

I am pleased to announce that I completed the 3 week online openSAP course ‘Software Development on SAP HANA XS — Delta SPS09’ and graduated with a ‘Record Of Achievement’ of 99%.

I am participating once more in a new openSAP course on software development for SAP HANA. The new service pack 09 contains all kinds of new exciting development features which resulted in a 3 week follow up course at openSAP.

SAP starts a new short openSAP course regarding the concepts of ‘The Internet Of Things’ and its impact on our society, businesses and people.

SAP announced today the release of its next generation enterprise software business suite — SAP S/4HANA — which is an entire new ERP platform built on top of the in-memory database platform HANA and designed with its latest (mobile) UI technology SAP Fiori.
